I first saw these guys at a BBQ outside Baltimore; back with 3 Jim's and Shae. They were fun then and yet still had depth and passion. That was the Salmanilla/Split-Burger era. Only listened to this new album once, but sounds like they have a bit of that back. Not a mindless party-band; not as aimless as post Salmanilla. And Jim (the one left) seems to have something interesting/emotional/cool to say. Jaded perhaps, but makes the music and lyrics more real. I'm not crazy about the Waiting Room cover, seems somewhat "irreverant". But that is just me. Fugazi, to me, is one of those untouchable bands. A few other songs seem too sarcastic in a bad way. Overall though I kinda like the album. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking I might buy it.
