Well put hombre, I'm a newer fan (I'm only 21) but these songs are fun, detailed and to me stand the test of time. I support Jimmy and co and go to their gigs, I give him a lot of props for still playing shows and keeping this band/music alive (when so many others have given up). They're working on a 5th release according to their facebook which is awesome news! (PTSE is like a Faith No More "Angel Dust" or Pantera "Vulgar Display of Power" to me - meaning classic/timeless/perfect)

Heard these guys for the first time when they opened for 311 and Shootyz Groove in Baltimore, 1995...and many years later, Zach 216, you are so right. Bliss, Blood, Sitting With the Dog, Lazy Boy Dash, Do Right, Another Day, Vacuum, When You Die, You're Dead...the satire/social commentary is so thick and the melodies profound and unique. Jimmie is definitely a talented writer and no one does or ever will sound like JCS in their prime.

That really is such an ignorant comment and total bullshit cause I know all the JCS songs, no one writes quite like JD...

I think they're one of the coolest bands ever. Them and 311 on tour together must have been wild!

Yeah I'm really digging FoC, like all their stuff it takes time to sink in but it's got some kickass tracks.

Still one of my all time favorites. Glad they're still making new albums. Fail on Cue is pretty awesome.

With this band I love how the songs range from extremely hard hitting/deep and intelligent to straight-up goofy fun let's have a party and get drunk songs (yet still are arranged smarter than all this other crap out now). Some songs are a combination of the two. Really love it.

Jimmie's a really great writer as well as a singer! Easily my newest favorite band. I love how PTSE and BYOS really sound vastly different. Both are incredible, getting familiar with the newer releases too, sounds great. Bought all the albums

I saw JCS a bunch back in '96/97 when "High" from Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope was getting regional radio play in the mid-Atlantic states. They were awesome, and usually drunk. Had them endorse the back of a check I had for $0.01 at a signing to which Jimmy Ha-Ha wrote "Bouncin'" after joking about what if the check bounced. Can't believe they're still around.

Saw them again Friday night at Halligan's in Charleston. Great stuff. They always put on a great show. It's nice when you can tell a band really enjoys what they're doing and enjoys themselves on stage.

this band has really gone under-appreciated, in my opinion. the lyrics are clever. i'm curious to know... has anyone seen them live? do they even put on shows anymore?
