On “Killin’ Me Good” JIHYO introduces the mature and groovy concept to her solo debut album titled, ZONE. The song marks the second solo release from a TWICE member after NAYEON’s debut with “POP,” in June 2022.

In “Killin’ Me Good” JIHYO’s partner makes her feel not only like a better person, but introduces her to new lovely feelings whenever she’s around them. The music video shares multiple memories of Jihyo and her partner until they eventually break up. In the end, when they break up, Jihyo rips off the shirt that her lover wears to reveal a black outfit, resembling freedom from her lover.

Surprisingly in the music video, when Jihyo texts her significant other, the contact is named with a lollipop emoji, making a possible reference to TWICE’s logo, a lollipop. Later on, when Jihyo goes live, the follower count is 143, which means I love you.
