Fantastic song. Like pteronophobic mentioned, I love the nostalgic feel to this one.

My second favorite Tull song after "Flying Dutchman", I love the sentimental feel. Did these songwriters/musicians have any idea that their songs would be cherished by future generations? I can't imagine today's hits having the same effect 30-50 years from now.

@bag of cheese. Hmmmm, you know, I've been listening to more Roy Harper as of late and I can really see where Ian got some of his best ideas of how to write a song from Roy. Check Stormcock by Harper for the love of pete if you've never heard it before.

I don't care what anyone says, the 1970's where a high point in music and many other things for that matter, and this track to my mind exemplifies this to a large extent, a great tune and singing, with real feel and soul!! A high point that I believe will never be achieved again, and dare I say it, in large part at least, its been downhill from there ever since : ((

Sometimes Tull is at its best when not fanciful. Like Kev said, just gorgeous and honest. Nursie was like that, too.
