Saw Jessica open for Lucero in Salt Lake City and was blown away. Her music is a blend of folk, country, and progressive rock. The riffs the band would break into reminded me of King Crimson.

Wow! Just discovered her today. I just got this new cd at the radio station, from emerging artist Jessica Lea Mayfield. Great stuff, I'm into her songs and voice. New album was produced by one of The Black Keys, has 2 member of Dr. Dog singing on a track, and was recommended by Scott Avett. Unexpected musical treat. Thanks for the music Jessica Lea Mayfield!
