Jessica Ashley is an eighteen-year-old singer/songwriter from New York City who began getting attention after posting covers on her Youtube channel. Since then, Jessica has begun work on her debut EP, 'Prelude' which is now set for a May release. The EP is preceded by Jessica's debut single, 'Souvenir', a mid-tempo Pop/R&B ballad that showcases her vocal ability and accessible sound. Jessica has had the opportunity to work with some of today's most successful songwriters and producers, including Sean Garrett, Sham & Motesart, Willie Baker, Nikola Bedingfield and Alan Nglish. She recently co-wrote 'Limbo', a track which is said to be included on recording artist JoJo's forthcoming album, 'Jumping Trains'. Over the past year, Jessica has been in studio writing and recording tracks for 'Prelude' and is now ready to present her music to the world. 'Prelude' is an eclectic mix of Pop and R&B and showcases Jessica's talents as a songwriter, pianist, vocalist and producer. She has already received early comparisons to Alicia Keys and a young Mariah Carey. The first single, 'Souvenir' is only a taste of what to expect from this up-and-coming songstress.
