Biography

Jaime Irles is an electronic musician whose discography is the byproduct of his need for creative expression and his perspective on life. Those who have followed him throughout his career describe his sound as eclectic, and heavily inspired by the authenticity of '80s and ’90s electronic music as well as science fiction movies. This combination evokes mysterious and deep emotions that take the listener to a profound state.
The Ibiza-based creative got his first start in music at the age of 13, as a host of a local radio show. After that, he was performing as a DJ at several venues around Ibiza before developing his original sound with Germán Escandell and the electronic music duo Known Rebel (Tympanik Audio, Mindtrick Records, Ember Music). With Known Rebel, he recorded two EPs: ”Known Rebel” in 2010 and ”Ocelo” in 2012, as well as their debut album ”Hollow” in 2011.
In parallel, he recorded several solo singles that included ”Medicane” and ”Wrong” with artist Marc Planells, both released in 2015. In 2017 he self-released his debut album entitled "A Region Of Eternal Night.”
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as Roel Funcken, Subheim, and Access to Arasaka, among others. He has appeared in compilations from Ibidelyc Records, Tympanik Audio, The Crime League, and Mindtrick Records as his music was featured in various documentaries such as ”La revolución turística" and "Eivissa Sostenible".
In April 2020 he released his latest EP, ”Cardanova,” an eclectic mixture of downtempo, synthwave, and ambient sounds reminiscent of past decades, evoking soundscapes and leading the listener through a journey through the depths of oneself.
