“this is what _____ feels like,” pronounced “this is what blank feels like” is singer-songwriter JVKE’s debut album, released on September 23rd, 2022. It is his first and last album centered around his very first relationship.
“this is what _____ feels like” was preceded by the singles “this is what falling in love feels like”, “this is what heartbreak feels like”, “golden hour”, and “i can’t help it.” The album is 12 songs long, and it is divided into chapters, each to describe different stages of his relationship. This includes falling in love, heartbreak, sadness, and falling out of love. The album is mostly pop, with hip-hop and modern indie pop elements. JVKE produced, mixed and mastered every song by himself.
