On “GATTI,” Travis Scott and rising Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke team up for the first time on the JACKBOYS record. On December 23, 2019, a video of Pop Smoke and Travis Scott hanging out in the streets circulated online, featuring a snippet of an unreleased track between the two artists. A day later, UK drill producer 808Melo confirmed a collaboration between the two, revealing that Mike Dean was mastering the track.
An earlier demo of the track featuring French Montana, leaked on October 28, 2019.
On December 30, 2019, Travis Scott released accompanying visuals for the track, which featured Travis and Pop Smoke driving around Houston in a Bugatti automobile.
“GATTI” debuted at #69 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the chart week of January 11th, 2020.
