I think this was the first Isis track I heard, at some break between classes. Watched it on youtube at the same time with Neurosis - Burn, and even though I didn't get the songs instantly, I knew I had found something worth continuing to listen to. I remember waiting for the class to end so I could go and listen some more. Ah the times. :-)

I think that the first segment of this song is so insanely, incredibly heavy that it travels through space and time, and comes back small and soft. Yet its still like, immensely heavy somehow... ya know?

This song speaks to my core, close your eyes, take a slow, deep breath and exhale silently. Can you feel it? Let the percussions tangle themselves in your roots and the rhythm loose itself among your branches.

One of my favorite Isis tracks. Holy Tears is a good one but I really like Dulcinea...greatness.

Really needs to be heard within the context of the album, the whole thing flows so much better. But I still LOVE this song, such an utterly epic sound, and they don't even use a grandiose orchestra to reach it! Not THAT's Talent,

Your shadow lengthens as time draws on It's tendrils creep into mythic cracks, blending with the light of day We see it now before us, but even so we cannot read the lies between the lines Probably the best piece off the last album.
