1) IsamU, born in 1985, is a male singer-songwriter from Japan, known for his delicate melodies and genuine emotions. The artist name IsamU is a coined word derived from "I am the same as you" with the aim of fostering connections between people and expressing the desire to always be there for others.
Having previously contributed to WEAVER's Yuji Sugimoto's solo mini-album "facing you" in 2011 under the name "Kato Isamu," IsamU took the opportunity to make his debut as a singer-songwriter under A-Sketch in January 2013 with the release of "I am the same as you". The debut album gained attention for featuring actress Yuri Yoshitaka on the jacket cover. The album, released under A-Sketch, includes ten songs, with the debut track "Only" becoming particularly popular due to Yuri Yoshitaka's appearance in the music video and jacket photos. Notably, the album also features songs previously provided by IsamU under the name "Kato Isamu" for WEAVER's piano-vocalist Yuji Sugimoto's solo works before his own debut.
