The significance of this album can’t be understated but outside the first 2 and last 2 songs I always saw the rest of the songs on here as filler material.

My second favorite Maiden album behind Somewhere in Time. Aces High, 2 Minutes to Midnight, the awesome instrumental Losfer Words (Big 'Orra), the title track which is one of my all-time favorites by them, and of course the absolutely epic Rime of the Ancient Mariner are the highlights for me, but the other songs are highly enjoyable too.

Good album, but it honestly fades into the background a bit for me compared to Piece of Mind and Somewhere in Time, the two masterpieces it's sandwiched between. First two tracks are great.

Viajaron a Egipto buscando inspiración. Me encanta la creatividad tan hiperactiva (y productiva) de esta banda.

My favorite Iron Maiden album. Very consistent, with two of the group's best songs to open the album, and two of their best to close it. Awesome guitar playing, very proggy in places, lyrics are outstanding.

Also the four middle songs are good too! We have The Duellists which is arguably the most underrated Maiden's song and Losfer Words plus Flash of the Blade are two solid songs on their own. Only filler for me is Back in the Village. Not a terrible song, but it sounds a little out of place.

Yes, every song is excellent, but I think the four I pointed out are legendary, among Maiden's all-time best, and since they're bookends, they're particularly memorable, but yeah, the rest of the songs are awesome too!

Really? Interesting. I think they've been uniformly very good/great until this point (I actually consider Number of the Beast to be the least of their first five albums) and that this one is their high point in every respect. The only one I'd consider ranking ahead of Powerslave would be Somewhere in Time, but even then I prefer Powerslave the majority of the time.

An absolute masterpiece in every way. Heavy Metal and music in general rarely get better than this. From a sonics perspective it's perfection, the songs are uniformly great, the performances are off the charts terrific (I would say this is likely Bruce Dickinson's best effort)... just top to bottom awesomeness.

Otra obra maestra del Heavy Metal, esta es la música que se realizaba en los `80, la mejor época para este género !!
