New album is a hell of a turn in genre, I dig it but I can see it being polarizing for people not as invested in death metal

Not at all what I expected, but if anything this shows Inter Arma palette is wide ranging enough that they can do this and it still sounds like them. I miss some of the other prominent influences their other albums have, but having at least one of their albums be so compact and furious is quite an addition.

First time I've really given Inter Arma a like full on listen, and this new album is blowing me away. From what people are saying it sounds like it's a little bit of a deviation from their other stuff, but I'm sure I'll still like the older records. Incredible composition and pounding riffs for something that does have an experimental edge. Well worth the listen.

Bro just finished listening. Really is an amazing song. Should I check out that whole album for my next Inter Arma listen? Also clicked on your profile and saw your number one record was Schammasch's Triangle, and I've been meaning to give that a listen for a bit. Gotta check that out now.

Paradise Gallows should be the most welcoming one. Summer Drones and the following two tracks are the highlight of the album I think. As for Schammasch I would recommend starting with either Contradiction or Hearts of No light. If you want to make a wuick peek just check these songs: Above the Stars of God A Paradigm of Beauty Provoking Spiritual Collapse

New album hits like a truck. The cavernous sounding production with the dissonant death metal riffs is such a perfect combination. A lot of emotions and feel in these riffs. PHEW.

Paradise Gallows is amazing and so is Sulphur English. Both need some time to settle in but it's worth it!

Sulphur English is massive. They have really come into their own sound on this one.

Anticipating this one. These guys have a pretty much flawless track record so far.

"The Cavern" should count as 10 scrobbles at least. It is not fair to it to compete against the usual 3-4 minutes track. Meanwhile, some Agoraphobic Nosebleed tracks doesn't count as any scrobble. Not fair. Ha.

Thus lies the plight of the simultaneous grindcore/sludge metal last.fm scrobbler...

Dude, dude... It was a fucking joke. A tiny little awful yet funny bid. Chill and, please, enjoy your music.

I would never complain about the length of a song. No matter how short or long it is. Like I said, it was just a bid about the contingency and arbitrariness of "scrobbling". The Cavern is one of my favorite songs ever.
