If only the rest of the album was along the lines of this song. One of the best songs the band has ever done.

This was my favorite on the album from the first listen, but I've recently read the Farseer trilogy, and now all I think about when I hear it is Fitz/Nighteyes.

The second half of this song is so damned amazing. [2] Love the experimentation of it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this song. The second half is like, wow. Definitely one of the top 3 of INNW, if not THE best.

"Wish you were here" vibe in the first half. [2] Yeah, his singing is SO gilmour.

That second half just creeps up on you, seductive and dangerous, and I agree really gettin' the APC/Zeppelin cover vibe here.

At first I thought this was the worst track on the disc. Then, about a week ago it found itself on repeat, and me searching YouTube for live versions, and watching the Letterman performance a few times over. If you asked me a week or so ago I'd not speak highly of this track. Now, I think I love this song! :)

it's something like a marriage of Pink Floyd and Gary Numan for me. just saying. anyone heard something like "Down in the Park" here?

I love the first half which in my opinion seems like an homage to Pink Floyd. Then you get the last half which is just a sick jam session. Its becoming one of my favorite Incubus songs :)

"It's Pink Floyd with Chris Martin on vocals to me" << even the vocals sound like Gilmour (e.g. in "Wish you were here") in the first half

I would say I was half joking. But, there are definitely similarities to Lost and Strawberry Swing. To my ears, at least. Not that it is a complaint - I like both bands. And love this song. I would say I am pretty well informed on what each band sounds like. You kinda pick that up over the 14 years since S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Nice taste by the way ;)

Oh, come on, there's no need to fight about it. To me it sounds Pink Floydy - so what? It's a pretty fuckin' awesome song :)

The vocals sound nothing like Chris Martin. This song sounds nothing like Coldplay. You guys are joking, right? Right? Yes? If not, perhaps you need to be better informed on what both bands and both singers actually sound like. Until then, get off this site. You shouldn't be listening to music until you've learned better. Go on, shoo!

It's Pink Floyd with Chris Martin on vocals to me but combined with that second part this song is a gem. I'm sure the Incubus guys are aware of their obvious influences...
