Biography
Il Prato dei Desideri is an experimental / ritual ambient project from Naples, Italy, founded by Gianluca Martucci (also founder of Sagenhaft and Urna).
The first album, "Una notte nel prato", was self-released in 2004. It consists of eight untitled songs (composed, arranged and recorded in 2003/2004 but with lyrics written in 1998) where Martucci recites a sort of oneiric fable and plays a variety of instruments (keyboards, acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, percussion, cymbal, triangle, flute, effects), helped by Anna Caruso (vocals, whispers).
The second album, "Mr. Bizzarre", was released in 2007 on Blade Records (in a 2-disc edition which also includes "Una notte nel prato"). This second work shows a more experimental and apocalyptic sound made of noises, distortions and TV sampling.
