Yep, this version is very good, energetic and punky BUT it is still a cover ;) U2 song has historical background and was written for purpose - this version don't have this spirit. But I have to admit that I enjoy this cover. I never before listened to Ignite (they aren't popular in my country) - it must be changed :)

it doesn't necessarily ruin the song, but it certainly does it no justice. The marching drums are the song's call to battle. You can't syncopate marching drums. The original song was absolutely perfect. This guy has a great voice, so I can understand wanting to show off on a song like this, but pick a different U2 song.
