“Venom” is a single by Icon For Hire, originally released in 2019 and later included as a bonus track on their album "Amorphous". It discusses the toxic slippery slope of negativity and the consequences associated with it.

Their first release of 2019, the song style was reminiscent of their last two records, the inundated heaviness of "Icon For Hire" with the poppier mindset of "You Can’t Kill Us". The song further continues the band’s experimentation with and combination of hip-hop, pop, rock and electronica.

In a YouTube livestream on June 26th 2019, Ariel Bloomer, the band’s lead vocalist, revealed that she wrote the song about how “negativity can become like a poison inside of our lives that sort of takes over before you know it”. Ariel mentions that Shawn wrote the first line of the song, and that the song wouldn’t exist without him.
