Biography
1) Icebreaker are a UK-based new music ensemble founded by James Poke and John Godfrey. The group have established themselves as one of the UK's leading new music interpreters specializing particularly in post-minimal and "totalist" repertoire. Recently they have also incorporated more ambient repertoire, particularly in their version of the Brian Eno album "Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks".
2) Icebreaker is a former stage name of Alexander Perls & Simon Break. The ambient electronic album Distant Early Warning was released in 1999. Since 2000, they have been known as Icebreaker International.
