Biography
I Have A Tribe is Irish musician Patrick O'Laoghaire(born in 1988). He released his debut album, "Beneath a Yellow Moon", in 2016.
After school, O’Laoghaire considered training for primary school teaching. Instead, he studied at Dublin Institute of Technology. After graduation he began to write songs and playing live.
He released his debut album, "Beneath a Yellow Moon", in 2016. He spent 2016 travelling Europe with his songs from "Beneath A Yellow Moon", his album recorded with Paul Savage (Mogwai/King Creosote/The Delgados), supporting the likes of Sophie Hunger, The Slow Show and William Fitzsimmons and playing Latitude Festival, Bluebird Festival, Sacred Ground Festival, 7 Layers and Let's Get Lost Festival, among others.
He has toured with, and opened for, Bon Iver, Anna Calvi, Lisa Hannigan and Villagers, and was invited to take part in the People festival (curated by Bon Iver) where he collaborated with This is the Kit, Feist, Little Scream and Damien Rice.
His second album. ‘Changing of the Guard’, was released in May 2023.
