Biography

Andean music, afro and electric sounds is the sound proposal of Huaira.

Huaira comes from the Andean valleys of Ecuador where the sounds of nature melt with the chants of the native cultures. This Ecuadorian sorceress has grown up deeply connected to the ceremonial world and ancestral medicine. All this harvested knowledge blends with her productions to create a Creole musical mix.

The Quito-born singer made her debut in 2018 with the EP 'Ñuka Shunku' which means 'I am pure heart' in Quechu language, material with which she sought to embody the lush tropical forest, the mountains and the dazzling beauty of her country.

His appearance on the music scene came together with Nicola Cruz, collaborating with his voice for the song 'Colibria' from the Ecuadorian's first album 'Prender El Alma', with a great folk inspiration playing with ancestral sounds.

During the pandemic, the singer was stranded in Mexico for four months, during which time she took the opportunity to collaborate on new music that will soon be released.
