High Hi is a Belgian alternative pop band.

In 2014, the band from the outskirts of Brussels was selected for Studio Brussels' De Nieuwe Lichting and the same year High Hi reached the final of Humo's Rock Rally. In 2014, the band joined Novastar as support act on tour. Joost Zweegers got to know them as a Rock Rally jury member. In 2016, the band became one of the artist in residence at music centre Trix. Their music is a mixture of different styles and has evolved. Melodies are important and mostly upbeat, the lyrics sometimes sombre. There is two-part and alternating singing by Ooghe and Beerten.

In 2015, the instrumental debut single Calm Down Sir was released and was picked up by, among others, BBC DJ Steve Lamacq.

In late 2016, the band recorded the debut album Hindrance under the direction of Reinhard Vanbergen and Niek Meul of Das Pop. The first single from the album Island Full Of Gold was released in January 2017. The album itself was released in March.

In 2020, they released the album Firepool, produced by Daan Schepers, and scored hits with the singles Daggers, 94A9 and Alligot. The song Daggers topped the Afrekening for six weeks. Due to the Corona pandemic, the group was unable to play the album in front of a live audience.

In early 2021, High Hi performed at ESNS. In 2021, they signed with Warner Music Benelux and the band released the single Return To Dust in autumn 2021, releasing the second single All Cool All Fine in late February 2022.

The new album Return to Dust was released on 29 April 2022. It was again collaborated with Daan Schepers for production. It was presented in its entirety on 1 May 2022 at a concert in the Box of Ancienne Belgique, followed by an interview and a live performance.

An interview and live performance in the Netherlands at 3voor12Radio followed a few days later. The group joined Arsenal as support act at the Lotto Arena in May 2022.
