Hi-Fi Set (ハイ・ファイ・セット) was a Japanese chorus group from 1974 to 1994. Band members : Yamamoto Junko (山本潤子) Yamamoto Toshihiko (山本俊彦) Okawa Shigeru (大川茂) Hi-Fi Set was formed after September 1974 when three members from the recently disbanded folk song group Akai Tori decided to form their own group. Yamamoto Junko, Yamamoto Toshihiko, and Okawa Shigeru named their group Hi-Fi Set due to the help of fellow musician Hosono Haruomi. They released their first single and album on the same day in February of the next year, entitled Sotsugyou Shashin, which became popular among the Japan… read more
