The unique music project from South and East Tyrol by multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Herbert Pixner (Diatonic harmonica, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, percussion), Manuel Randi (flamenco guitar, electric guitar, gypsy guitar) Heidi Pixner (harp) and Werner Unterlercher (contrabass) is currently one of the most successful music groups in the "progressive folk music" section.
Any regional assignment is superfluous in this music project, however, because it can not explain the power of their stage present anyway. With over 1,500 sold-out concerts and 100,000 tickets sold per year, the Herbert Pixner project is one of the most successful instrumental music acts in the entire German-speaking world.
With their unconventional cast, the four exceptional musicians build musical bridges between their remote home regions with playful-lascivious meekness, powerful rock and blues riffs, brilliant technique and enormous joy in playing.
Intelligent, authentic instrumental music with great ease in a great interplay. Here, a variety of soundscapes are woven, there is room for gentle melancholy and also for nothing stopping outbursts. Minimalistic, rugged, epic and very sexy that sounds.
