Heavy Sky is a Turkish hard rock band formed in Ankara by Batu Akdeniz, Çağlar Töngür and Hakan Kılıç at the end of 2012. After one year study process the band performed on stages as "Batu Band and Supermoon" and they have been in the public eye in a short time. At the end of 2013 the bass guitarist Mehmet Öztürk has joined the band and they changed their name as "Heavy Sky" so the band took its final form. The band is planning to release their first studio album at the end of 2014. They are also counting days to publish their first single and video clip. Mixing and recording has done by Studio Mirage(Ayhan Aydın, Ugur Karaman, Bulut Gör). The single is mastered by worldwide known mastering engineer Ryan Smith who has worked with AC/DC, Scorpions, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani…
The band is under the influence of all rock ages. They describe their music as "Anxious, Noisy and affected by Ankara's state of mind"
