Always going to love these guys. This album, So Many Dynamo's 'Flashlights" and Dr. Manhattan's self titled album were all the albums I listened to Summer of 2009. Long Live HeavyHeavyLowLow

Excruciatingly lovely. The band has only evolved and proressed in terms of musical composition. Experimental is the only genre this sound classifies as; the instrumentals are completely original scores with no hint of borrowed sounds, and the lyrics are, while a bit goofy at times, haunting. Robbie Smith, Matt Caudle's replacement on vocals, is a schizophrenic who self-medicates with illicit drugs. There are many references to a dead woman who is one of Robbie's hallucinations. Listen to "Please, That Bitch will outlive us All", the song is done from her perspective, and it is my favorite track. Anyone who can appreciate this music should also listen to their latest work, an EP called Hospital Bomber. It clocks in at just under five minutes, but it is arguably their best five minutes to date. Heavy Heavy Low Low is incredible music, period.

love this album, anyone else who can't see the genius in what they're doing, shouldn't be listening to music in the first place. scene kids started hating hhll after they stepped out of the scene kids' comfort zone of cookie monster vocals and a ridiculous amount of breakdowns.
