Biography
Daniel Öhman is the man behind Halo of Pendor, a one man project from Gothenburg, Sweden. The music is experimental, sensitive and melancholic.
Halo of Pendor
Daniel Öhman was born in the Swedish coast town Kalmar in 1981. He spent his childhood in his father's circus. Here he worked from an early age as an artist until he turned 19 years old when he decided to dedicate his life to his biggest passion: Music.
Daniel started to work as a technician/producer in musicstudios. At the age of 20 he decided to move to Gothenburg, on the west coast of Sweden. Here he met people that shared his passion for music. Over the years Daniel has played in various bands in a wide range of genres; from pop to hardcore punk and most of all post-rock. With these projects he's released several records and toured Europe and Asia a number of times.
Between the years of 2004 and 2006 Daniel lived in Växjö where he studied music production at the University. An education that focused on audio engineering, acoustics, composing, copyright laws, and much more.
After two and a half years of traveling back and forth between Gothenburg and Amsterdam, because of his relationship with his Dutch girlfriend Laura Gommans, Daniel decided to move to the Netherlands. Since January 2011 Daniel lives in Amsterdam where he working with composing and producing music for own projects as well as others'.
