I Love You's

“I Love You’s” is a song by Hailee Steinfeld released on the March 26, 2020. Three days before the release, she teased the song on both her Instagram and her Twitter by showing the title, cover art and the pre-save link for the song. The song appears on her "Half Written Story EP" as its first single.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in March 2020, Hailee said:

"'I went through a breakup and did not give myself enough time to heal from that before getting into another relationship. When that second relationship ended it became clear that I needed time and space to heal — I hadn’t given myself that to begin with that first time around. I didn’t realize the importance of that.'"

Hailee performed the song live from her home during the coronavirus pandemic on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on May 1, 2020 during the 148th episode of the seventh season.
