Can we somehow differentiate between the Connecticut jam band and the Belgium electro-dance rock band?

Still waiting on a consistently great album from these guys, to be honest. Synrise is probably their best to date, but every single Goose album has suffered from a severe lack of consistent quality, definitely including the new one. There are a few great songs, but there's too much filler for a great overall record.

New album is strong, perverse, dirty rock, awesome dark techno vibes. Oh, can't stop listening the combo Control, Real, United and Lucifer.

Synrise was a big disappointment for me, but the new Control stuff sounds fun. Welcome back Goose! [2].

Ok. Bring It On kicked so much ass. Synrise is just well... It has a different feel to it. It has a slight touch of 80's. Don't get me wrong, I love 80's stuff but in Synrise it just came off as "dinky" sounding. Man. No ass kicking anymore I guess. Anyone have suggestions for other bands that sound like Goose used to? I mean, pretend for a moment that Synrise was never made, and Goose was going to come out with another album. Which band sounds like Gooses next album should have sounded like?
