The Strawberry ice cream tune of their entire '70's material.the verses aren't too bad but the chorus pours liquid from every orifice.

The haters of course will hate, but this is a phenomenal tune, even if it doesn't sound out of a place on the album.

It's the weakest tune, sure, but it's still relatively enjoyable. not as bad as the next album's single, "Follow You, Follow Me."

The worst song of the album and the begining of the end of the Genesis prog band... i love the rest of the album though... One for the Vine is a masterpiece!

I love this album and especially this tune. I could not listen to it for 30 years. The last time I had heard it was at the funeral of my best friend. It was only after I met my wife that I was able to try to listen to it again, she brought it with her to the marriage. It still make me cry.

The first time I heard this song and it came to the refrain, I immediately recognized the musical passage as one I'd before in another song, but I couldn't for the life of me remember what song. It took me years to rediscover the other song. It was "Shannon" by Henry Gross, which had been a hit in the spring of 1976, only a few months before Genesis recorded "Wind and Wuthering". I won't speculate on whether Genesis may have perhaps unwittingly nabbed the passage from that song.

This is from the first or second album with Phil Collins as the lead man after Peter Gabriel left. It's actually no a bad album but this is not the original and isn't very good. Disco Genesis followed shortly thereafter.

I'm not sure what "disco Genesis" (see below) is meant to be, thought I'm sure this particular song has nothing to do with it.

Love the album but this song is totally out of place on it. The live version with the strings from the 86-87 tour that can be found on the second Archive box is actually really nice but this original version is just cheesy and should've been replaced with Inside And Out which is million times better.

My favourite genesis ballad. I'm sure some people don't like it because it was the first song they had done that was meant to be radio friendly and the first hint of the "disco genesis" to come, but I like all of their work so it does not bother me if this is radio friendly or not.
