This is such a beautiful piece of music. Provides a wonderful respite/calming down effect after the epic that came before it and sets up "The Cinema Show" nicely.

This is definitely the Dark Horse of the album, a very underrated, beautiful piece. Hackett certainly brought a more classical sensibility to the band, and I agree that it's a shame that the rest of the band didn't appreciate his contributions more.

Agreed. Every selection on Selling England is an indispensable part of the album as far as I'm concerned.

Absolutely gorgeous. Wish the band had respected Hackett's contributions more.

Bookman, I think those you mention have the harder edge and the darker feel. This album was definitely an invitation to folks like me who are a little afraid to turn out the light. I grew to love Foxtrot and Nursery Crymes, but much later.

OK, just to put the cat amongst the pigeons - while I like the track and the album well enough, it's not really 'early' enough Genesis: Foxtrot, Nursery Crimes and Genesis Live are the great albums for me!
