I've looked over for this album so so long, I regret it. The music is great. The album cover however is atrocious, I feel like he did a disservice by choosing that.

This album is all about Mick Karn, but I have not heard Mick Karn play like this anywhere else.

Yup, in 1994 Jakko recorded 'Kingdom of Dust', backed by Mick Karn, Steve Jansen, and Richard Barbieri. Around the same time Robert Fripp was collaborating with David Silvian.

My point was that the title of the album is 'Dance', but it is completely undanceable music.

saw Gary Numan on the Dance Tour, wow. What an incredible performance. kinda forgot how brilliant this album is. i mean, it's been a long strange trip since '81. hey. check out Gary Numan backed by Nine Inch Nails. asides from Mick Karn, featured on Dance, of Japan, NIN about Gary Numan's perfect backing band.

I have this on vinyl. It's a cut-out so that means Gary Numan never got paid. I feel bad about that.
