Obligatory reminder: the second live album (1991) is 2,5 hours of pure agony/ecstasy. When the first disc alone starts with a piece which sounds like "Public Castration Is A Good Idea" with a sick japanese twist and closes with a monolithic organ drone howling like a call from the grave - you already know that's a (pitch black) dream come true.

Would be great if they release more material between them and Brotzmann. I really enjoyed the some of his playing in Nothing Changes, specifically the 2nd track. Though, I'm still satisfied with how much material they released during the 90s. They never cease to take me on a noise filled psych journey.

The fusion of ecstatic rage and silent tension of Haino's music far surpasses anything typical lounge-rock jam-bands are able to achieve with their "psychedelic" noodling.

well looks like the album lineup differs from the live or the actual lineup. event the event organisers seemed to have overlooked that one. Chiyo Kamekawa on bass and Ryosuke Kiyasu on drums. also, pics of current lineup now uploaded

I was a bit sceptic about this new Fushitsusha incarnation, but the gig I saw last week was one the very best I've ever seen of Haino. Rather than just being insanely loud with Haino drowning out everyone else on stage like he usually does, he was a true conductor of his band. Two hours and it didn't bore me for a minute. Their set had had lots of nuances and a subdued quality througout.

V should probably mention that the bassist of Korekyojinn is also the bassist for Fushitsusha!
