Free Agents Brass Band is an Atlanta, Georgia, United States group, formed by a rotating line-up of New Orleans ex-pats in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Founding member Ellis Joseph brought a crew together to bring NOLA music and the spirit of the second line, to others that had been forced to flee the storm's devastation.
They saw success with their track We Made It Through That Water, which featured both diagetically and on the released soundtracks of the show Treme, as well as the major feature documentary Trouble the Water.
We Made It Through That Water is the group's sole LP.

Alfred Growe - Trombone
Arian “Big Boy” Macklin Sr. - Tuba
