Tous les Garçons et les Filles is the debut studio album by French singer-songwriter Françoise Hardy, released on November 1962, via Disques Vogue. Like many of her following records, it was originally released without a title and to be referred to, later on, by the name of its most popular song. Released when Hardy was 18 years old, the album was a commercial success and "went on to top charts".

Tous les Garçons et les Filles is a yé-yé style album that combines elements of rockabilly, folk, jazz and blues. Pitchfork's Marc Hogan felt that the album strikes a lasting balance between rockabilly rhythm and Gallic introspection. It's notable for its simplicity, with minimalist jazz percussion, prominent bass, and twangy guitars. Stewart Mason of AllMusic describes the album as the '60s pop equivalent of Shaker furniture: devoid of ornamentation and exquisitely simple, which distanced it from the "bombastic" music of its yé-yé contemporaries. John Paul of Spectrum Culture noted that although Hardy's music has its roots in the American girl group sounds and their signature harmonies, it is interesting that the album adopts a more stripped-back approach, allowing Hardy's voice to clearly stand out. without the weight of superfluous instrumentation and backing vocals.
