Lots of pretty great songs mired by less-than-ideal production. I'd love for them to revisit and remaster this but I know this era was a dark time for the band, and I think it would be even more difficult for them to revisit it after losing Taylor. The album also switched producers which makes it difficult for either producer to really get a good grip on how it should sound, and with the problems in the band at the time, it must have been tricky to keep revisiting this album to get it right - how this album sounds is entirely a product of its time, which makes it interesting but the sound quality is equally difficult to listen to.

For me, this album cemented Taylor Hawkins as a great drummer and worthy replacement for Dave.

This is one of my favorite albums by them but the recording quality is shit. It needs to be remastered to not sound like shit.

It was my favourite FF album for a long time and then I realised what Dave said was pretty much true. I'd go for All My Life, Times Like These, Come Back and either Low or Have It All as the 4 songs he finds good. But the rest is certainely not bad despite the fact that Lonely As You and Burn Away are some of FF weakest songs imo.
