Their latest record is one of my favourite shoegaze releases of the past few years. Apologies for this excruciating pun, but there's just something in their melodies and layers that captivates me like few other bands in the genre do.

well back in 2006-7 every shoegaze devotee was really into them. then they disappeared for a decade or so...

Overlooked by the general music listening public, yes! Unfortunately I don't think they're able to do tons of promotion and tours. I think die hard shoegaze listeners know them though.

More than a year on, and I'm still hopelessly in love with Speeding Away to Someday.

when i talked to them after their show in 2007, they told me they were influenced by psychedelic music rather than MBV or shoegaze. they were really friendly!

I love MBV so if this band sounds almost exactly like them then I'm not complaining.

Just want to let everyone know that there are two versions of Occult Radiance, a US version and JP version. They have completely different mixing and the US has an extra track.

Yes, this band sounds an mbv analogue like someone previously mentioned, but despondent transponder is still a great album. Crunchy grooves yo. I hope the new album rocks more than there sophomore.
