“Write On Me” is the second promotional single from Fifth Harmony’s album 7/27, released on May 27, 2016. The lyrics contain imagery of drawing and writing as a metaphor for the effect that a romantic relationship could have on someone’s life.
The song matches an acoustic guitar with the kind of tropical house-inspired vibe that took over pop in 2015 and ’16. In fact, the track was co-produced by Kygo, the Norwegian DJ who helped make a tropical house an international sensation. He’s joined by fellow Norwegians Stargate, the production and songwriting team known for their close collaboration with Rihanna.
