Just saw them live with Yann Tiersen. All the new songs sounded really good. Lucinda hung out at the merch table and when I asked her if there was a download code with the new record, she said, "No, but you can probably just Bittorrent it." Touche!

Felix's Kranky debut is essential listening. Album review here, for those interested: http://theskeletoncrewquarterly.blogspot.com/2009/11/you-are-one-i-pick-felix.html

I believe there is also a local southern grunge band hailing from New Orleans that also shares the same name. Can't say they have any recordings yet.

ups, it seems we have another Felix here and it sounds a way better than eurodance, here is the desciption : Felix is the musical duo of Lucinda Chua and Chris Summerlin, who make their home in England. The focus of the album is Lucinda's askew stories, and the subtle conversation between her piano and the guitar accompaniment of Chris Summerlin, an intuitive discussion that speaks volumes by not saying too much and while never stepping on each other's lines. The songs themselves are delicate and spare chamber pop. They are understated and deceptively simple, but deliver an emotional impact that mere decibels cannot. Lucinda's tales of woe concern the banality of domestic life, small animals, and the desire to keep the forces of the world at bay. You Are the One I Pick may be an album of small charms, but they come with a frequency rarely found, and are myriad in number.
