Atlanta Millionnaire's Club is a beautifully crafted album by Faye Webster. With a country saunter and singer-songwriter energy, Right Side of My Neck provided a soothing harmony with genuine emotion.
“I didn’t think about writing or what I was doing,” Webster says of her songwriting process for the whimsical release. “I was fresh from a feeling and that’s when I get some of my most honest and relatable songs.”
The song explores an honest, almost naïve form of attraction best described as longing. The summery energy perfectly captures the period of time after a spark has been initiated but before it bursts into passionate flames of romance. When everything they do seems perfect and you want to hold on to anything that reminde you of them.
The bittersweet nature of this emotion has been translated into music through the harmonious chords but raspy tired voice.
