The first album of the (then) trio was released in October 2009. In pursuit of the distinctive organic sound, the boys headed to the countryside. They spent days and nights experimenting, creating and recording new sounds to achieve both musical simplicity and sophistication.
“The Hills Behind the Hills" is a very deep and personal recording with themes covering society, family, relationships and of course - love”, explains Ewert Sundja, the lead singer of the group.
The album consists of 9 indie-folk rooted songs; the instruments vary from regular guitars and drums to electric organ, campanelli and balalaika. All songs are written and produced by the band and recorded by Siim Mäesalu at Sonicmedia Studios.
