spotify is evil but i can appreciate that at the very least they use their recommendation engine to surface random goods to a new generation...an obscure early single from EBTG suddenly being their biggest hit is awesome – ditto b-sides and deep cut album tracks for pavement, weezer, GBV...it's cool that these bands have to relearn these now and put them in their sets, in some cases for the first time ever

The production could do better with her voice, sometimes it just fades to a eletronic beat...

What happened to her voice. I put the album on shuffle with other albums for the first listen and I did not recognize her voice at all whenever one of their songs came on. I even thought it was Ben singing on some songs when I saw that it was Everything But The Girl. I did not follow her solo career except for a few collaborations. Did it evolve to that with time?

I heard rumors of that aging you are talking about. Sounds like one of those conspiracy theories to me. Until I have proof, I will not believe it.

Underrated and talented duo. It's worth checking out their entire discography. 💪

my mind was just blown that they did "missing"! it's a completely lost and obscure part of my baby childhood i didn't even remember existed until checking their popular songs for spotify. holy shit. early 90s was a completely different era, feels like some mandela effect shit

I prefer by far 80s EBTG over 90s EBTG. Love Not Money is my ultimate favourite but Eden is not far behind.

I got introduced to EBTG with Temperamental, and I used to prefer it over their older albums. But now I love them all. Idlewild and Eden are great. I like listening to the Home demo version of Each and Every one.
