I lost interest after 1995s self titled album, but this is very much a return to the sound of their prime era, all the old analogue sounds are there and probably the strongest songs since I Say, I Say , I Say

This is probably the most solid album of the 2000-2010 era IMO and one of the best Erasure have produced. Vince has some great mixes of synth sounds both subtle and europhic, suiting the tone of Andy's vocals/lyrics. A real grower, as there's some standout hits, but I now love the whole album. Great work nearly 10 years on. Sounds very contemporary but with older influences.

OMG! I never listened to this album before. I really loved it, they went back to their original sound with this!

I completely agree. I think this is certainly both the saddest and most mature album I've heard from them. It might just be my favorite.

I have no idea why some people were disappointed by this album. In my opinion, it's a true return to form: the very soul of Erasure's sound is here; perhaps a couple of songs don't live up to the standard we'd all expect, but the overall result is one of the strongest works by the band. It took me just a few minutes to fall in love with it!!!!
