Enslaved channelling grungy & dark moodiness of Alice in Chains, of all things. Fantastic album that's grown on me a lot since its release.

I'm inclined to agree, this album is fucking incredible. (2) Theyre definitely not fading with age or as they're careers continue

Anyone who dislikes this album is wrong. I know it's an opinion and opinions can't be wrong, but it's still wrong.

Like all previous albums since "Below The Lights", listening to RIITIIR for me is like meeting an old friend and hiking through a secret hidden fjord with him.

This is first Enslaved album I've heard, so if it's bad (and I'm enjoying it a lot so far!) it just makes me look forward to their back catalogue!

This album is a milestone achievement for the band, which never ceased to evolve creatively and shows the dare to venture into an uncharted terrain even after it turned its second decade of existence. Enslaved used to be a staple of the genre, but an album of this magnitude is highly likely to secure them a place in an institutional history of music.

Too much of a mess, too many riffs in every song, too little catchy riffs and melodies, clean singing too cheesy (for the first time, the clean singing on their previous albums was great), weird songwriting... Nah, definitely nowhere near their best albums (Axioma Ethica Odini, Isa, Ruun, Below the Lights). Well it's still a good album, but really disappointing for an Enslaved album since Axioma Ethica Odini is nearly a masterpiece... I really expected more :/
