1 - Empty Space is an industrial rock project created by Zach Bowman. With influences ranging from AC/DC to Nine Inch Nails, the project made its indie debut with the 21-track concept album Black in 2007. Building on the sound and concepts of the first album, White (the newest release) features faster tempos, more refined songwriting and sharper production. The album is a fusion of drastically altered remixes and completely new studio material.
Empty Space blends various electronic and metal styles to produce a new sonic experience. The most noticeable influences on the music thus far have been Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Megadeth, AC/DC, Korn and Rob Zombie. The long-term goal is to produce a new subgenre of rock that will spark the imagination of both fans and artists alike. Empty Space has produced two albums; Black, a near-double-length concept debut album, and White, an album constructed of remixes and bonus material. There are two more releases currently in production: a futuristic, cyberpunk concept album and a more metal-influenced industrial rock album.
