Even though this is not his best album, It is one of my favourites since It is the first rap album I brought as a kid.

One of the most personal albums that I relate to so much. Each major chapter in my life where I went through changes in my life is a time this album has really been there for me. So many songs relate to my personal journey and it speaks to me on a personal level that I can't explain. This is my second favorite album next to MMLP and I mean every word of that.

this era of Em has always been my fav. from 09-14, Em was at his peak. His post-addiction commentary always brings out the best of him (Talkin 2 Myself, Going Through Changes, Deja Vu, Beautiful, etc)

Maturing is realising that Recovery isn’t half as bad as they make it out to be 🙏

My favorite Eminem album, and one of his best. Nostalgic and inspiring all at once. Y’all can suck my dick

it's 2010, i'm back to my mom's house from my first year at Uni for summer vacations and can spend my whole day playing with my sis and brother. we are helping grandpa and grandma in the garden and eating strawberries a lot. in the evening we all are sitting on the porch eating ice cream and talking a lot. closer to the night i'm chatting with friends in icq, playing cs 1.6 and listening to just downloaded emin3m_-_recovery_(full_album).exe from quite a suspicious site. everything was good.

10 years.. wild. when i started listening to him this was his newest album and MMLP2 was about two years away or so. underappreciated album by his core fanbase, some of his most honest and personal work is on this album. talkin 2 myself, going through changes, not afraid, etc etc etc. he really did his thing on this one.

it's not underrated, it's either overrated or overhated depending on who you're talking to. It being the top album is probably because it came out in 2011, which was the peak of last.fm's popularity.

Obviously its highlight's don't measure up to Relapse's but Recovery is considerably less slipshod as a whole. Both albums are on more or less on the same level - weak 7/10s.
