Alongside Tumbleweed Connection this is very likely the peak of his career. Not a single dull moment on the album.

Really really good! And fantastic album artwork by Alan Aldridge (Contemporary artist Todd Schorr has a similar style).

My dad was goin through a whole box of old vinyl records and found this. As soon as he started playing it I was hooked. I bought it on cd so I could listen to it in the car and stuff and man this album has become one of my favorites of all time.

I don't know @ that but it is definitely one of his earlier funnier works. It still holds up after 30 something years

No huge hits? pfft to that, lol. 'Someone Saved My Life Tonight', 'We All Fall in Love Sometimes', those ring a bell? hehe. Any-who, definitely Eltons best album when he was at his peak.. Blue Moves is right up there too.

The first album I ever bought myself. I was fascinated by the cover. No huge hits but some clever lyrics. My vinyl copy jumped all over the place I played it so much. :)
