Ellen Greene (born February 22, 1951) is an American singer and actress from Brooklyn, New York. Greene’s career began as a nightclub singer before turning to Broadway where she originated the role of Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, a role she reprised in the 1982 film version.
She is now widely known for her role as Vivian Charles on the ABC series Pushing Daisies and as Virginia Gray in NBC's Heroes.
