Biography

Elgin Park is the name assumed by soundtrack composer/producer Michael Andrews for this one-off solo project, released in 2000. A San Diego native, Andrews fronted various local groups before releasing two records with his band The Origin in the early 90's. He is also a member of The Greyboy Allstars. He has produced such artists as Inara George, Brendan Benson, Metric, and Gary Jules. The latter's version of Tears for Fears' Mad World, was produced by Andrews and appeared on Andrews' acclaimed soundtrack album for the film Donnie Darko.
