If I was a director and was going to make a western movie, I'd chose Hex for soundtrack.

Just started reading Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy and have found out that some of the song titles from Hex are lifted from the book- the two I've come across so far are Tethered To The Polestar and Land Of Some Other Order. [2] Also, "The Felon Wind." I just started reading the book and now I'm listening to the album for the first time in two years. Still amazing.

Apparently a film is going to be made of the book- this album HAS to be used as the soundtrack, with maybe some more Earth tracks...

it's actually the "score" to cormac mccarthy's blood meridian. the music and the book altogether provide material for your mind to wander and wander and wander. it's really something.

No doubt this album is influenced by that soundtrack and movie. The album title is actually taken from the spoken word of William Blake (Johnny Depp).
