A bio update would be helpful, even discogs.com has some info. “Download grew out of a series of unstructured jams performed by Cevin Key and Dwayne Goettel with various collaborators. Initially existing as something of a supergroup with many members and guest collaborators, Download's line-up shrank to Key, Phil Western, and Anthony Valcic by 1997's "III", and then to just Key and Western for all subsequent studio albums.”

I'm new to them, but honestly this is some of the best IDM-adjacent stuff I've heard. The 90s albums are particularly forward-thinking and original for the time, but all their albums have immaculate, detailed production. While a ton of the famous IDM guys were inching away from dancefloor stuff these guys were sounding ten years ahead of the curve. I can see myself sticking around for a while with this one.

Is it possible to say that Mark Spybey is part of the Download family once again? He tours with the band, performs Download tracks and appears on their last two albums. Can't wait to see if he'll be involved in the upcoming D album.
